Lifting of restriction for landings at airports that do not have customs etc.
A teleconference on the strengthening of air tourism in Greece was held on Tuesday 25/5/2021 between the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport G. Kefalogiannis and the Deputy Minister of Tourism S. Zacharaki.
The Commander of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), George Dritsakos, also participated in the teleconference. ELAO expresses its satisfaction and thanks to the Commander of the CAA Mr. Dritsakos as he had raised many of the issues discussed today and which are heading in the direction of being resolved through the President Mr. Nikos Makrakis and the Vice President Mrs. Kamburova Maria in the meeting they had with the Commander of the CAA on 15/6/2020.
Among other things, the obligation to land at an airport with a customs office for entry and exit of the country for General Aviation aircrafts will be abolished by law, simplification of form 731, opening hours of regional airports, etc.
