Greek participations in the FAI F5J World Championship

The F5J FAI World Championship was held in Cordova, Argentina this year, where Greece was represented by two athletes.

In the Tango cup, Pre-contest competition that took place on February 28 and March 1, 2025, with the participation of 92 top athletes, our athlete Christos Danavaras took 7th place in the qualifiers, 9th place in the finals in the general standings and 1st place as a Junior.

In the World Championship race (which followed on March 2-8, 2025) our Athlete, after his participation in both categories (Junior - Senior), where he flew a total of 31 flights in 4 days, managed to advance to the finals with the 2nd best ranking in the Seniors and the 5th best ranking in the Juniors. In the finals that followed, among the top 14 athletes, Christos took 4th place in the Seniors and 5th place in the Juniors.
