The FAI Meeting of Members, Commission Presidents, and the Executive Board took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 23 to 25 June 2026.

From 23-25 June, representants from FAI Members, FAI Commission Presidents and the FAI Executive Board met at the Maison du Sport International (MSI), home of the FAI, to discuss important governance topics in air sports.

Updates were shared with attendees on FAI finances and audit, as well as new administrative tools for officials management and FAI record submissions. Key points around FAI Sporting Licence access rights and the upcoming 120th FAI General Conference in Lausanne were addressed, and wider discussion was held around the FAI Disciplinary Code, the development of International Day of Air Sports project, FAI Membership matters and sustainability challenges. 

The agenda also gave specific attention to the proposed FAI Governance reform, with vital feedback sought from attendees in a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) in order to finalise a proposal for the FAI General Conference on 14-16 October. The output on this topic will be prioritised for further action in the coming months. 

The tone of the meetings and working group discussions was designed to be collaborative: key stakeholders from around the world and across air sports disciplines were encouraged to share insights into challenges they face and work together to find solutions. Networking opportunities were integrated into the agenda to foster the sense of community within air sports.
