The Hellenic Air Sports Federation at the Handover–Takeover Ceremony of the Hellenic Air Force Academy Commander

On Thursday, 22 January 2026, in the presence of the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (P) Demosthenis Grigoriadis, the Handover–Takeover Ceremony of the Commander of the Hellenic Air Force Academy (HAF Academy) was held at Dekelia Air Base, in Tatoi. Command was transferred from Major General (P) Matthaios Kanoupakis to Major General (P) Ioannis Karamanis.

Following an official invitation, the Hellenic Air Sports Federation was represented at the ceremony by its President, Mr. Nikos Makrakis.
