ΕLAO CAMP - FLY IN 2025

Following the successful events of previous years, which aimed to revive the air camps of the 1950s and 60s held at the Tripolis Air Base with the main purpose of spreading the "Air Idea" and promoting air sports, for another year, and with the support of the Hellenic Air Force and the enthusiastic backing of the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, we will organize the **7th Week of the Air Athlete / Air Sports / Air Idea** at the KEDA of Tymbaki Airfield in Crete.

This air sports event will take place from **September 6th to September 16th, 2025**, and will give us all the opportunity to experience an unforgettable time in an aviation environment right by the sea.

Participation Eligibility

All members of our associations and all air athletes are eligible to participate. Family members are also welcome, provided they register their participation through their respective associations.

Registration

Given that **priority will be strictly observed**, we kindly ask the secretariats of the associations to assist interested parties in registering promptly and directly with the Hellenic Aeronautical and Airsports Federation (EL.A.O) at **elaoinfo@elao.gr** by **August 10th, 2025**. This is crucial as demand may significantly exceed the number of available rooms.

Approaching Tymbaki by Air

Those wishing to arrive by their association's aircraft should provide the following information in advance:

1. Aircraft registration number

2. Passengers (Full name and ID card number)

3. Arrival and departure dates

Approaching Tymbaki by Sea

Arrival by sea is possible using the ferry connection between Heraklion and Piraeus. As in previous years, special discounts are available for EL.A.O members. (Please inquire at the EL.A.O Secretariat).
